First, I don't own this product -but I do own something similar.
The only other review here is NOT for this product.
The pictured item is not a basket for chips as the description says -it's a basket for holding small items (like nuts) in a smoker for better smoke penetration.
I have another basket similar to this and it is SUPERB for its purpose.
I rated 3 because of the confusion. 1 for all the misleading info, 5 for the function of such a basket.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I was hesitant to purchase this basket but decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. It fits perfectly in our smoker. I bought one for my son and one for my husband. My son has already used his and is very pleased.

Anything you want to cook on the grill or in your smoker that you're afraid may drop through the grids, use this! You'll never have to worry about that again! Grill veggies (including smaller mushrooms), shrimp, anything small! I love the handles for easy lifting out of the grill too!
