Got this as a Father's day present for my dad for out on the boat. His eyes literally lit up when he opened it. It was easily assembled and we were grilling in no time. The boat stays parked at the marina and they take the grill home with them so no one steals it, the grill part comes off the post easily and goes right back on making it easy to transport.

Needed a good and small portable grill for our pontoon boat. This does it all!!! Love that you can mount the grill onto the boat without sacrificing space! Totally collapsible too so you can grill on the table or anywhere. Very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone.

Best Deals for Springfield Deluxe Propane Grill

We purchased this for our pontoon and LOVE it. It mounts directly on the post that the back table near the captain's chair uses. It was easy to assemble (coming from a guy who hates to assemble things) is easy to setup on the boat, and stores directly underneath one of the chairs. Looking forward to many great cookouts this summer!

As an aside: A friend purchased a similar grill and tried to mount it on one of the railings overhanging the water. It ended with the grill at the bottom of the lake. So I recommend NOT mounting on the raining and sticking with the post inside the boat assuming you have a pontoon for this.

Great grill for my Sea Ray boat. Works great. Easy to set up and disassemble. Only down side is its a bit hard to get the fire going but once its on it works great.

Advantages: doesn't take up much room

Disadvantages: won't stay lit, heat reflector rusted out after 1 year, uneven heat distribution, flame goes out in slight wind or if lid is closed.

"I bought 2 of these grills for our houseboat. They have both been very disappointing from the beginning. I liked that they mounted on the rails of the boat and didn't take up much room. However, they won't stay lit if there's hardly any breeze at all, so they're basically useless if you're out on the water, and the only time I can use them is if we're docked. The flame goes out if you close the lid. The heat is very uneven, and one side will burn whatever you're cooking while the other side barely gets warm. The heat reflector on both of them rusted out after one year even though they were always under a covered dock and not out in the elements. The guy in the boat slip next to me had one too and he had the same problems with his and quit using it. I would not recommend this product to anyone."
