The heading says 5 lbs, shipping weight is 4 lbs and mine weighed in at 3 lbs 11 oz. In my opinion a small bag that is not worth the cost.

You will get some great smoke flavor from these "chunks", but the pieces are way too big. Most of the pieces require an axe or a hatchet to whittle them down to something suitable for smoking.

90% of the Chunks were bigger than a fist, some larger than two fists.

I like using the Mesquite flavor in my grill, it really adds a pop of flavor to whatever I am grilling. I have tried it with both chicken and beef and each time I loved the result. It is different from charcoal grilling, so I enjoyed the change up.
