I've now owned this grill for almost 10 years and it's still going strong. I am pretty tough on my grills and fire it up around 2-3 times a week (I live on the West Coast so it's always grilling weather).
Pros
This grill is SOLID.
Heavy duty grates
Ceramic "moon rocks" provide an even heat and cut down on flare ups
Cons
Wish I could upgrade half of it to infrared
Seriously, this is an expensive grill compared to the cheap ones you see sitting outside of Home Depot but it's so worth it. The cooking is amazing and the construction has held up outside (without a cover) for almost 10 years and 5 moves. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this BBQ a year ago and purposely waited to write a review, until I could see how it held up. In a word: fantastic. This BBQ just didn't go in a suburban backyard. I actually purchased it, left it in the boxes it came in from PGS, and
shipped it overseas to the house we are building in another country. The BBQ arrived undamaged thanks to the careful packaging by PGS.
The assembly of the BBQ took me about 3 hours, but I'm not mechanically inclined, so no surprise there. The directions were clear and no parts
were missing. I definitely noticed how nicely each piece is crafted, putting the BBQ together.
I have cooked on it several times and I'm very happy with the uniform temperature of the ceramic rocks and the easy clean-up of the stainless steel racks.
This is a no frills BBQ, but it is built to last, and it is easy to see the quality in every component of it. That is why it is comparatively expensive.
I chose this grill because a friend of mine is an apartment manager for a big corporation, and it is the only brand of BBQ they buy for their properties.
If it is tough enough to endure constant use in a large apartment complex, I'm sure I'll get many years of use from it.
