Review of Broil King 976187 Regal 490 Natural Gas Grill with Side Burner

Received the grill in less than one week. Assembly instructions fairly clear and easy to follow. Packing was excellent. Grill is substantial and works great. When grill arrived the thermometer needle was off the pin and calling customer support and filing a warranty claim was painless. In a matter of days I received the new thermometer and it is working fine.

I cannot imagine any natural gas grill performing better short of having a more powerful commercial unit at four times the price.

I considered the Weber genesis and Kitchen Aide models and am convinced this grill outperforms them all.

Just finished putting it together and it is very solid. Still waiting for spring to hook it up to the natural gas line and hoping it works as good as it looks.

Grill surface in nice heavy cast iron, but it has already started to rust a bit, I intend to contact Broil King since it is supposed to have a 10 year warranty on these parts
