This platter is only large enough to hold a very small steak or a sandwich. It also very thin and light (read flimsy). I do not recommend it.

Very light weight metal, doesn't stay hot long and when we cut into the meat, it also cuts the metal plate. Very disappointed. I've tried the heavier plates and they are better, but I'm thinking the iron skillet 'platter' may be best.

We love these platters!!! We also have a large one for cooking several items. The only thing we don't like is the appearance of the platter after using the shortening on it. It turns a golden brown and will not come back to its original metal appearance.
