We used this product twice in a new Memphis griil with poor results. On both occasions, a very high (compared to other pellets we used) residual ash caused a flameout by preventing new pellets from reaching the burn site. Not sure why these pellets performed so poorly but we subsequently purchased a product recommended by Memphis and the grill's performance has been perfect.

To me these work way better than the chips. They are cheaper and easier to use. I liked it so much I ordered the Oak and Maple also.

I bought this to use in my smoker instead of using wood chunks. These burn evenly and give off plenty of smoke for my ribs or pork shoulders. I plan to get a couple other flavors to have on hand

Used this to Cold Smoke my Bacon and Cured Salmon and they both came out perfectly smoked!. Nice flavor, not too overpowering, and I was able to keep my smoker at 70 degrees for 6 hours by using the pellets!
