I have had this fan for a few months and it has done it's job. It works well on Gas & Electric grills, however, WARNING; do not attempt to use it with Charcoal Grills, it will make a mess and possible FIRE (in it's original form). I have been able to slow it down a little and it will work somewhat when pointing slightly upwards toward the lid. This procedure will cost you because of the increase in charcoal useage. Don't forget to lube the bearings, because of the heat tends to dry them out some.

Quality overall is good, I believe there is a small learning curve using the fan with the temperature setting. I found I could use one less burner on my Weber gas grill to slow roast chicken and it browns everything beautifully.

While I have read some less than great reviews, we have used this for the past few months with not a single issue. We do remove the fan once cooled and store it indoors, not exposing the motor assembly to the elements when it is not in use.

We use this with the Charcoal Companion Stainless Steel Gas Grill V-Shape Smoker Box, Long, this works very well in combination with the fan. We also read bad reviews of this unit that is available in a black finish, but spend a few extra dollars for the stainless and I think you will agree it is worth the few dollars.

One additional use for the TurboQue is when we use a Charcoal Chimney starter, we will place the fan to the side of the Chimney so the fan vents against the side vent holes of the chimney. In turn the charcoal is ready in less than half the normal time. Having the entire summer and countless bbq's, the fan stills works very well.

this fan works as advertised . It fits in the slot designed for a rotisserie bar and seems well made . The fan ran for 5 hours while smoking some ribs and worked like charm to keep the heat even . all in all a well made product. I will add star if it does the whole season without failing.

Works great for grilling large pieces of meat, but I also use it with the burners on low to dehydrate chili peppers for storage. It makes a little noise as it's running, but the results are worth it.
