It is not at all accurate, and takes almost a full minute to measure the temperature. I had bought two of these. Same result.
Consider the Maverik Redi Fork Pro instead.

The instructions say that it toggles between C and F. But I am unable to see anything besides Celsius. It is too difficult and time consuming to see what the temp needs to be in Celsius if you know your internal temperature for your steak needs to be 160...

This is supposed to provide quick readout of meat temperature. You will burn you hand off if you stick the fork into the meat while on the grill. It takes a long time to get a read out. When the read out finally reaches the temperature it is not acccurate. It would be great if what you want is to grill meat until it is a dried out piece of leather.
