These burners were actually a little better than the originals. They had mesh in the flow area where the burner ends cover the gas valve, whereas the originals only had open spaces. I would assume to cut down in particulates that could get into the burner and disrupt the gas flow.
As I stated in the title, these burners went in easy, but there are some caveats. You'll want a pair of linesman pliers in order to adjust the end that is flattened and meant to screw in to back of the grill. This is not always at 90 degrees, and these are steel, so the pliers help pull the flattened end in a bit on those burners where it is not at 90 degrees. Also you should slide the burners in and onto the gas burner side first. Do this by inserting the burner upside down, (the back 'flat screw end' should be facing screw holes up, instead of down,) just turn the burner in your hand.) Insert the burner into the gas flow side first, then the back end should slide down the back of the grill, then turn the burner so it is right side up, ('flat screw end' screw holes should be facing down, so you can screw it in) and then screw in the back.
Now, as I mentioned, these are steel, and so you are probably cursing the old ones mightily in futile attempts to remove them. If you attempt to get the screws out of these old burners with the burners still in place, you WILL strip them. (But how do you move the burners if they are screwed in?, Well, read on....)
I found I had to use a cutting wheel, (Air tool) and PB blaster penetrating oil. I cut the old tubes in half so I could bend up the back of the tubes and access the screws much more easily. (Cut the tubes, pull the gas side half up and out, then bend the back of the tubes up towards the back of the grill) This allowed me to bring proper torque to bear on these screws, and I removed them without stripping them. Good luck. These burners were perfect.

I'm a certified propane tech, so I know a lot more about burners than most. These are very good quality and they fit my Charm-glow perfectly...and for a fraction of the price if you could find them on the shelf somewhere. These burners appear to be a bit better than the factory originals and they have the added bonus of a little bit of screening around the air shutters that may help keep out bugs and mud wasps. I can not say they will drop right into your grill, but my model number was on the list of grills they fit and it worked out well for me.
tip: don't forget to adjust your air shutters. If they are all the way closed, you can get a lazy yellow flame that soots up everything...opened up to much will make the flame jump off the burner and not light well...it should be nice and blue..maybe some orange in the tipsand not be "roaring". You can try it at about half open to start ;-)

I don't write very many reviews, but I was so pleased with this purchase that I had to write a review and give this a BIG thumbs up! My grill is a Charmglow Model #720-0304 I purchased new from Home Depot in 2005. I've always used a cover on my grill, but over time the burners still got rust and ended up with big holes and cracks. These replacement burners are an EXACT replacement and fit perfectly.. In fact these actually seem to be a little more sturdy than the original burners. ****A bit of advice when removing the old burners.**** DO NOT try removing the phillips head screws while the old burners are still in place. If you do, YOU WILL strip them out and then it will be a big headache extracting the stripped screws. You need more room to apply proper torque to break loose the old screws. (there are two screws holding each burner, directly under the 90 degree bend.) FYI This kit does not come with new screws! ***What I did:*** I took a pair of channel lock pliers, or I suppose you could use any large pliers or vice grips, and squeezed and clamped down the middle section of each old burner, basically collapsing the center of the tube making it weak and easy to bend. A couple of them were so rusted, they just broke in half. Once the tubes are collapsed in the middle, be sure to wear heavy duty gloves and grab the center of the tube and pull up very hard. This will bend the tube and allow the gas end of the tube to slide out of the hole in front, then you can bend the tubes up and back, and giving you room to easily get to the phillips screws in the back. (OR instead of bending the tubes, you could cut them in half with a hack saw, dremel, or whatever metal cutting tool you have. Whatever you feel most comfortable with.) Once the old tubes are bent back, spray the phillips screws with PB blaster, WD-40 or any other type of penetrating lubricant, and let it sit for few minutes to break up the old rust. Then use a GOOD QUALITY phillips screw driver to break each screw loose. DO NOT STRIP THE SCREWS! (I've found that cheaper screw drivers tend to strip screws more easily) Then once all the screws are loose, pull the old burners and discard them. ***NOTE:*** When installing the new burners, place the "gas" side of the new burners into the front opening first, (where the gas valve slides into the tube) Do this first before attaching the backside with the phillips screws. Installation will require you to work around the new burners when tightening the phillips screws, but just take your time and make consistent slow turns until the screws are "snug". It is not required to torque down the screws super tight, just snug them down. As long as the new burners do not come loose when you give them a small tug, you are good to go! :)

I own a Nexgrill I brought from BJ's about 5 years ago I was down to only one good burner the rest where rotting out and flame was uneven. I search and search for replacements and finally I found these they fit perfect no modifications needed and now my grill works like new. As soon as I installed them I had the blue flame again my steaks sear perfectly and heat even through out the grill.

These burners were perfect! The look to be identical to the ones that came with the grill. And the performance seems to be the same too. Have only cooked with them a few times so far, but to date, I'm very pleased. The cost was much more reasonable than other websites. Some places were charging $30+ per burner! That's just crazy.
