I have had two 6.5 Lb. chickens on at one time and it is easy to balance them. The motor has no problem and is very quiet. I don't know how it will hold up, but we shall see. Good for now.

I purchased the Weber 7570 Summit 400 Series Stainless Steel Rotisserie and I LOVE it!!! Fits perfectly on the grill. Smooth mechanical action...amazingly quiet too. The price was well below retail on Amazon...and I checked Lowes, Home Depot and the manufacturer. I am very pleased to say the least.:)

Be aware that this rotisserie no longer comes with the oblong handle shown in the picture. I called Weber and they told me the "new" design no longer has this handle and that without it, it was easier to remove the rotisserie from the grill and easier to remove the food from the rotisserie shaft!? Other than that, this rotisserie is as advertised and works well.

My previous Weber grill rotisserie had an adjustable counterbalance which I liked a lot and it worked well. I wish this rotisserie had a counterbalance system.

After returning the item twice and emailing messages with Amazon.com AND talking on the telephone with Amazon.com, I gave up and requested a refund. The picture shows a handle to lift rotisserie shaft out of the grill after use...however, it does NOT come with the handle.
