Reviews of Primo 503 Pecan Rub by John Henry, 11-Ounce Bottle
I live in the Florida Keys and frequent a very nice restaurant in Key Colony Beach. The Salmon and Snapper Pecan Rub Specials are Super. The Secret is Out. John Henry's Pecan Rub. Put it on real think because it will reduce to a yummy glaze that seals in the moisture. If you grill the fish, sear the top, flip to the skin side, and apply liberally. Freakin Delicious.If you like sweet and spice you will love this rub. I put this on chicken and beef. It's very easy to use because it doesn't matter how much you pour on. It's not like salt or pepper where if you put too much it gets too salty/peppery. You can basically pour the entire bottle on your steak and it will taste great. I go through 1 container after cooking 5-6 times with this. I like to add cayenne pepper to the mix to make it a little hotter but that's about it. My favorite meat to add this too is skirt steak.
