This is my second Patina fire pit. I gave the first one away before making a long move a year and a half ago. I've regretted it ever since, so I finally got another one. While it's more expensive than a lot of other pits, you really get what you pay for. This is well-made and very heavy duty. I left my first one outside uncovered quite a bit and never had an issue with rust or corrosion.
If you're comparing this fire pit with others, bear in mind that this one comes with a poker, grill, mesh top and vinyl cover. You have to pay extra for these things with a lot of other pits.
