Out simply. We love the product. It offers a good flavor to the meet. Good smoke, IMO. It's worth trying.

These pellets worked well. I've read some criticism that lumber jack pellets produce a lot of ash because they use the bark in their pellet making process. I did not find that to be the case for me. The pellets produced a very mild smoke flavor, which while to be expected for a pecan\oak blend, it was milder than I probably would have liked. It is great for milder meat though that you don't want to overwhelm. I also used it to bake bread which it did without imparting a smoky taste. I would definitely use these pellets again, but only for certain foods. They won't replace my everyday pellets.

Works good, Priced right. It is not all Pecan. Oak Pecan blend. Mostly Oak. My next purchase will be all Oak. I don't think the Pecan makes a difference in this blend.
