Very hard to move the child-proof lock, and you have to push it with your thumb every time you want to light the lighter. I would suggest looking for something with a different lock-design.

this product works well. i gave it only 4 stars because it can't be refueled thus non-environment friendly. i didn't research this enough before ordering.

we bought two more expensive lighters but both stopped working even with full lighter fluid. This one is great and works everytime and the flexible head is great for lighting our grill or candles. great price too.

This has a good flame, and I find the childproof lock less onerous than most; however, it's paired up with a can of Zippo lighter fluid in the "bought together" section. This, foolishly on my part, led me to believe it was 1. refillable (it isn't) and 2. not butane (it is).

Still, a solid purchase with quick delivery and good packaging by the seller.

I bought this product on June 7th and a month later, it would not light up. I can see the spark going so my only guess is that it ran out of gas/fluid whatever it's using. I used it 20 times to turn on our citronella torches. That's 2-3 seconds per time? I left a msg for the seller, let's see what happens. Other than that, the product is great.

!!!!!!!!!Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!: I called the company and Mike answered who was happy to send me a new lighter no questions asked. The lighter arrived, all is good. Excellent service. Obviously this is not about the 5 dollars but the principle and frustration sth small like this can cause even for a few minutes. Satisfied.
