I actually used these for a craft project. I packed 1,200 in a 6 inch by 6 inch square, glass vase. I put the skewers sharp side up and the points have held up very well. I stored all my random knives, point down, into the skewers. It looks modern and saved me a look a money on a knife block that would not have worked well with my various knives. There are some instructions and pictures online, but it is simple if you look at the picture I posted under Customer Images.

The pictures are deceiving... while the label on my package of "bamboo" sticks says 4.1" Bamboo Sticks, what is in the package, are 200 red plastic sticks exactly 3.5" in length resembling an oversized toothpick. There is no bamboo in this package. Typically I cringe when someone rants about customer service problem on a product review, so I'm at a loss as to how to rate this I'm sure the sticks are perfectly fine but they were not what I _thought_ I was going to receive, although they are clearly labeled as the product that I ordered. So, from a product perspective, the product is plastic and not bamboo as labeled, and is 3.5" and not 4.1" as labeled. That makes a 2-star rating in my mind. I understand Amazon's return policy and confirmed I would need to return these at my expense since the "correct" item was received. This isn't worth it, since postage is more than the product. I have not factored this fact into my product review since that would be doing something that frustrates me when others do.
I guess I'll try one more time wiht a 7" bamboo stick and hope for something at least 4" to arrive. I can use plastic but need the 4". Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. I like to give the benefit of the doubt, so this goes into the category of "We'll See"....
