This single burner cast iron stove is perfect. We use it when camping and also at home when canning fruits and vegetables using the boiling water method.

Aside from how well it works, it also allows us to do our fruit and vegetable canning outside instead of heating up the house using the stove.

Some caution is needed when transporting the unit. It is cast iron which is very brittle. It will break is dropped.

A great little burner. I'm especially pleased at how sensitive the control is. It's a real bargain. We camp a lot and plan to use it year around.

the stove arrived damaged but still works and it would cost more to ship it back. Amazon packiging was fine but the original box from China was loosely packed and broken. You pay for what you get and I didnt pay much. Next time I won't cheap out!!!!

I bought this stove to replace a Cabela's cast iron one-burner my wife bought me several years ago. A cast iron leg cracked on that one, no doubt because it rides in the back of our truck when traveling.

I haven't even fired this one up yet, but I am here to say this is probably the cheesiest piece of cast iron equipment I have ever bought. It is not even half the weight of the one it is replacing--and weight says most everything in cast iron. The nuts, bolts and washers are flimsy. I had to add washers to even get the legs to stay attached to the burner top. The Chinese know simple cast iron burners (I know, I've been there) and they should be ashamed of this one.
