Most of the Weber equipment is excellent (if pricey), but their vinyl covers are not very good. The material does not breathe, and while the latest versions have apparently eliminated the mesh air circulation vents which also allowed rain to pour onto the grill, they now presumably will have issues with condensation in hot weather... I have tried two of these Weber covers (with vents), and in addition to leaking, both have cracked after a couple of season's exposure to the California sun. Overall I have been quite disappointed.
As an alternative, check out the Veranda BBQ Cart Cover. This is a *far* superior design, and costs less as well! The material is a tough nylon weave (similar to soft-luggage) with a polyester backing and piping at the key seams. The elastic cinch on both ends, combined with nylon buckles at each leg ensure that the cover will stay in place during even the highest winds. There are rain-protected vents directly over the left/right tables, with inner 'no-see-um mesh' to stop bugs. Even the built-in handles to simplify removal are a nice touch and work well.
The Large size fits our Weber Summit S-470 perfectly. The edge seams line-up exactly, and the bottom hem rests on the cart wheels. I first tried the XL (which is supposedly the 'right' size for the 400-series), but the seams were off by several inches and the cover also drooped on the ground. Presumably the XL would fit the Summit 600-series instead.

I've had my S-470 for about 2 weeks without a cover and when it rains, water channels into the cabinet and into the drip pan where it mixes with the grease and overflows into the cabinet and anything in there. I've had to clean up disgusting messes twice already. This cover has vents in the top that allow water to come right in and allows this to happen even when it is covered. Why in the world they wouldn't put the vents on the upper sides is beyond me, but you do not want this cover!Weber told me they redesigned the cover (based on "customer feedback" they said) and removed the vents and told me to order from their store to make sure I got a new, redesigned one. So I did and asked the sales rep to make sure that I got one of the new ones. When it showed up, it had the vents in the top anyways.
I'm now waiting on Weber to ship out the correct cover, but they don't know when it will be shipped. In the meantime, I'll have to throw a tarp over it or something. Do not buy this grill cover unless you are absolutely sure you are getting one without the top vents. I can't believe they didn't give them different model numbers so that you could be sure of what you are ordering, but right now it is a crap shoot, even if you are dealing directly with them.
Follow-up: I finally received the new version of this cover from Weber and it seems to be identical except no vents. Happy to finally have a usable cover, but I still recommend that you purchase directly from Weber or someone else that you can specifically ask for one without vents. If you order from Amazon and they send one with vents, you might be able to return it, but I'm not sure what you would do then to ensure you get one without vents.

I've had this grill for about a month and a half now and have used it quite a bit. Everything works like it should and I'm very happy with it. Of course, I've had to adjust the way I cook things. This grill's interior temperature gets very hot (550+F without searer, 700+ F with searer) using high on the controls; so I've learned to turn things down while cooking. The rotissary works really well and the infarred burner provided even cooking. Indirect cooking is really good as you preheat four burners, then turn off the two center burners. Havng both outer burners on eliminated worrying about wind/draft flow. The smoker box with it's own designated burner allows you to control how much wood smoke you want. Note that smaller pieces of wood burn within approx 15 mins. If you're smoking longer, larger pieces are recommended. Just make sure you can still close the lid to the smoker box. The side burner is large and strong enough to hold larger pans and pots. Had no problem bringing larger pots of water to a full boil. Only once did a stronger breeze blow out the burner when the burner was on low.The Weber 7554 Premium Cover is designed for this series. It fits like it should and is very easy to take off and put on. The mesh air vents are located over the side burner and side shelf. It allows sufficient air flow to allow moisture to escape from under the cover. Naturally, having vents allows rain to get in, but it drains right off and doesn't become standing water on any parts. Weber states that most grills can rust/corrode is a nonvented cover is used. In fact, there is some opinion that a cover shouldn't be used. Personally, I like the fact that the cover keeps the unit clean from tree, bug and bird droppings.
As I mentioned above, I'm very happy with my producta from Weber. It is truely unbelievable the difference in quality from other brands.
