I have two of these on my grill and they give me good light on my grill surface. Batteries last a long time with the LED lights. Even if you forget to turn them off they turn themselves off when lid is down.

I have 2 of these on my Summit S620. I added a third one and now, I can see clearly...no more burnt food while grilling at night...Turns off automatically when lid is closed. Batteries have been inside for more than a year and still going strong.
