Bought this grill because we needed something for camping (not backpacking.) We love it and have used it many times for camping, tailgating etc. Heats up fast and efficiently, the starter works everytime. Only complaints are 1) the grill grate is really heavy (for a grill grate) which makes the grill heavy, 2) the heating element is not removable so cleaning can sometimes take some patience if something drips more than expected.

I have had this grill for 4 years and will have it many more. This is a great little grill with a small foot print for stowing in the 5th wheel yet a fairly large grilling area. The grill, heats up fast, holds a flame in heavy wind and the heavy duty cast iron grill grate holds the heat. It is deep enough to do chickens, and large roasts without the cover hitting when closed. It cleans up easily and is built tough. In the 4 years prior to this I had bought 3 grills none built or cooked like this one. I looked at a weber Q as well. Our camping friends bought the Q I bought the road trip table top. When we camp together his stays in the basement. Do not get this mixed up with the Road Trip XLE as I had one of them part of a season small issues it takes up more room but has 2 burners and more cooking space than we needed. It would not hold a flame in wind, the BIGEST PROBLEM IS IT NEARLY BURNED THE CAMPER UP IT IS A FIRE HAZARD (do a little research) Coleman did replace it for a new one and I sold it in the box. P.S. my table top is the older one and does not have the temp. Gauge in it. I did not but it on amazon as I was not a member then.
