I took a shot at this cover based on reviews and price. I have never written a review for Amazon and came back just to write this. The quality of this cover is very good. I bought it about 3 months ago, store it outside and there is no fading or wear to date. Still looks like new. The fit is just right with a velcro strap at the base to snug it up. I have the large egg with the 2 drop shelves. Couldn't be more pleased with it.

I got a Large BGE for Fathers Day and wanted a cover for it. The official BGE cover costs around $95!!! This one costs $55. I don't know if the BGE is made better, but this one seems like it's made of good material and it fits nicely. The vent hole looks like rain could get into it, so I am conscious about it and place it so the vent goes in the back, to better protect the thermometer from moisture.

The only 'issue' is the BGE takes time to cool down so I frequently forget to go out and put the cover back on, but that's hardly the cover's fault.
