This tool scrapes gooey gunk and hardened residue out of the grooves in the grate -it fits the shape perfectly. You do need to follow it with a brush, but it does most of the job itself and speeds up the cleaning. Dishwasher safe, unlike a lot of other grill tools.

On the good side this scraper fits perfectly into the cavaties of the Solaire grills but, on the negative side, it is greatly overpriced (seemingly all of the Solaire products appear to be highly overpriced) and it is very ineffective in cleaning the grill after use of your BBQ.
Try a wire brush, which works far better.

If you have a Solaire you know how difficult it is to clean in the back and front portion of the v shaped grill. This tool works great for that. I still recommend a steel brush before or after use.

I haven't used this product yet but expect to do so within the next few months. This is a unique tool that is used for the Solaire grills. I'm not expecting any issues with the product. The distributor delivered the product as expected; without issue.
