I recently snagged up one of these bad boys and let me tell you, SO VERSATILE! I use this thing to keep hot-dogs from rolling around (Even Fat Jo would be impressed with the lean my yard has going on), sometimes I'll leave it on the heat before placing it on top of the subject being grilled to provide surround heat (Who said only sound can be surround!?), it works great indoors for keeping bacon nice and flat, and in the event of a zombie outbreak (I'm looking at you Miami) attach a rope to this thing, swing it around your head, you got yourself an excellent tool for defense! This thing is STURDY!

Again, I must emphasize all the uses this thing has and all the potential it had for more that I have yet to discover! Can't recommend this thing enough!

The wooden handle was too short (1/4 inch gap on one end between posts where it is screwed together); handle also had an inch split on one end. Quality control lacking on this puppy. Reordered a Lodge Logic grill press with steel handle (will use pot holder.)

This is one of those tools you don't realize how much you need until you have one. Use this guy all the time both on the grill and in the kitchen. It sits on your meat and makes your life better. Nothing could be simpler. Help your steak or burgers cook more evenly without pressing the juices out. Probably works equally well for veggies but I haven't tried that yet. Who eats veggies anyway? Get one for you and one for your friend who thinks he knows what he's doing behind the grill.

This press is one of the best I have used. It is strong, heavy and does exactly what it is meant to do. The wood handle does not char over extreme heat and still looks good today months later as the day I took it out of the box.
