Can't be stainless since it rusted out in less than a year.
Buy your burners elsewhere as these are junk.

I didn't realize it until these tubes arrived, but my original Kenmore/Char-Broil tubes are stainless...these are not. Also, the pictures are not accurate for the tubes I received; the only accurate depiction is the middle picture where the cut-out at the end (where it meets the valve) is in the middle of the tube, not on both sides. In fact, one of the tubes I received did not have ANY cut-out and it caused the flame on that tube to burn yellow and high. I used my roto tool to add a cut-out to the one tube and it functions okay now. So if you don't mind steel tubes that may or may not need modification, then these are sufficient but may need to replaced more often because they are not stainless steel.
