Purchase an 80+ inch cover and you'll be fine.
Once assembly is completed, this is a very nice unit that will do pretty much anything you want. The firebox can double as a small charcoal grill, so you can use the entire surface of all four units for a large cookout. The charcoal grill has a nice ash trap that is easy to remove and dump. The warming rack is very nice compared to the standard stainless wire rack that comes with most grills. The sear burner is nice, but don't expect even heat across the entire cooking surface.
You should season the grill before it's used for the first time.

Bought the grill two weeks ago from Sams club for $349. Much more convenient at that price, cant go wrong there. For the price listed here (700) I would find a higher quality grill. This grill is spot welded and not very thick material. It is pretty sturdy and does the job but I dont see it lasting too long in the elements (even with a grill cover). There are some things I did to make it function better like filling the welds in the fire box and putting a gasket in the smoker side to seal it better. Burners seem to be functioning well and the new design for the Propane tank support is much better than what is pictured. All in all for $350 I think it would be worth every penny.Best Deals for Smoke Hollow 4-in-1 Combo Grill
I originally purchased this as an upgrade to a smaller and much cheaper smoker I had bought a few years prior to owning this one. I've owned this grill for a bit over a year now, and liked it when I first got it... but after a while, I discovered a flaw that lead to a disgusting discovery around the grease trays.Searing Grill: I've only used this portion a few times, but every time I have it has worked fairly well. It takes a little bit to get up to temperature, but once heated I was able to grill steak, chicken, and pork chops like a pro. They looked and tasted beautiful.
Fire Box: The fire box comes with a grill over it, but I've never actually grilled anything on that. I've only used the fire box to provide heat & Smoker for the other grilling/smoking chamber. The fire box hold a fair amount of wood, but I wish it held just a bit more. The rectangular shape is nicer than some of the other smokers I have seen with a rounded fire box and the controls and locking lever work good. My only beef is that the lid comes with 4 cushions that go in the corners between the lid and the top of the fire box. This allows for a small gap which some heat and smoke to escape.
Right Side Grill/Smoke Box: I was able to smoke 3 Tri-Tip and a Rack of ribs in this compartment when utilizing ALL of the available space. This included the moveable coal tray below the grill. I never ended up using coals in it, so it was always fairly clean. My complaint with this chamber is similar to the fire box. It comes with rubber feet to go between the lid and the chamber to act as a cushion. Again, this leaves for gaps for smoke and heat to escape.
Left Side Grill: While the gas portion of the grill does heat up quickly with 3 burners, I found that it heated somewhat unevenly. The hottest portions of the grill were along the very back with a few places on the left and right side. The front was the coldest spot and the center was only marginally warmer.
Grease Trays: This is where the fatal flaw comes in... It's great that there are grease collection trays. They pull out from the front and are very handy to have, but there are large gaps around the back and sides. I didn't think anything of it at first, but the last time I went to use the grill I found rat droppings all over the inside of the left grilling compartment. Rats were EASILY able to enter and access the entire compartment. I never noticed this on the smoker side, because on the very bottom of that is another metal sheet with holes in it to allow for ash removal. I believe rats COULD enter this compartment still, but I never saw evidence to waste.
Had Smoke Hollow done a better job of eliminating the gaps around the grease tray, I would have found this to be a passable combo grill. I would even give it 3 or 4 stars. It certainly was an eye opener and it will definitely make me examine my next grill better before I purchase it. I've never had this problem before with any other grills or smokers I have owned, but I consider this to be a design flaw.
With alteration I could seal off the gaps, but who really expects to have to do that?
Honest reviews on Smoke Hollow 4-in-1 Combo Grill
Have had this Smoke Hollow charcoal/gas Grill w side burner for 3 years. The charcoal side has completely fallen apart, actually fallen in. Covered every winter but not in the summer. Where ever I had seen rust it was repainted with black grill paint. I took care of this. Back panel has completely rotted out. Went to grill something Saturday and the grate fell through and landed on the burners. Bending them down and breaking them off. Poor steel ?? Thin steel ? Would never purchase a Smoke Hollow product again. Called them and I was pretty much pushed aside. Too much money for this. Other grills I have purchased lasted twice as long and cost half as much. Rating of VERY poor craftsmanship.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Smoke Hollow 4-in-1 Combo Grill
This is a great grill/smoker for the first two years. Then the screws start to rust, a bad sign. The third season the entire rear of the gas side has fist size rust holes after repairs at the end of the last season. It's been kept out of the weather, but is dying a slow death. Either I grill too much or I expected too much. The smoker section while rusting, always worked great. Overall, for the money I paid, it was a decent buy. I will rework the grill section again. Next time, a cheap round charcoal grill.Charlie
