I wanted one with a magnetic base because I wasn't sure if clamp would fit. This more than met my expectation. The light is bright enough, the bendable neck is great, long enough to stretch over grill surface to angle light, and the magnetic base is nice and strong. A good bargain for the price. I don't even use the clamp. I just stick it to grill and take back inside when I'm done so it doesn't get weathered.

...then this light is for you. I'm a bit dissapointed with this. It's certainly bright enough, but will only light up one piece of steak at a time. If you're cooking anything big, or have your grill covered in food this is not the best solution.

On a plus note: the magnet is strong and will stick to a metal grill (or the fridge) at any angle. Batteries are included, which is also a nice treat.

My buddy had one on his grill, and i asked where he got it. His wife bought it for him, and she did't remember, so i did a little resurch and found it online. It has double duty for me. I use it on my grill, and then when i need engine compartment lighting it also works great as a specific area drop light.

I love it.

Got this for my husband. It works great. Just don't leave it out on the grill. It's not water proof.
