Parts fit exactly, the old units were at least 15 years old and had finally gave in to rust.

Hopefully the replacement will last half as long.

I replaced these Burners on my Vermont Castings grill. What I thought would be a 2-3 hour job turned into a 2 day job. All of the screws, nuts & bolts were burnt & rusted beyond use, so I had to use a dremel tool to cut all of them off. When I took the old burners off, I had to break off the igniters, because the screw and holders for those were also burnt and corroded so badly they could not be reused. The flame retardant material that goes on these burners to keep the heat in the Grill and out of the gas supply area we also burnt so badly they could not be reused. Begin improvisation mode: I found some high temperature gasket material as well as high temperature silicone sealant at Mills Fleet Farm in the automotive section, and I found replacement stainless nuts, bolts and screws to replace all the old ones. I used the gasket material and sealant to fabricate a new fire wall that held all of the igniters in place and did the job of keeping the heat where it belonged. The grill has been tried and tested several times since and it is performing well.

So, the burners work OK, but I would have gladly paid more for burners that include the flame retardant gasket material as well as the new hardware to hold the Igniters in place.

I have a Vermont Castings BBQ which I love. I purchased the BBQ 6 years ago. The steel pipe burners rusted out and one burner was unusable. I went to the Vermont Castings website to check out the cost of replacing them. $68...so I checked out Amazon and their price was $16 and I could get them in two days. My husband installed them with little difficulty and our BBQ works great. Sure beats buying a brand new one

I had priced these several other places on the web and they were running as high as $40 EACH and I got the 3 pack for less than $15. Had to get 2 of the 3 packs, but now I have a spare...and I got free shipping. They were fairly easy to install and now my Vermont Castings Medallion grill is like new again. THANKS!!!!

Big Box store had 2 burners for $20....and they didn't fit right

These fit correctly and were 1/3 of the price. Hamburgers and steaks are back on the grill!
