Gas regulators (like freeze free outdoor faucets!) are over engineered for safety. If they get too hot or you turn on the gas too quickly they stick...and sometimes stay stuck. Or...they're just like so many things nowadays...cheap and disposable. I cleaned my grill to an inch of it's life. I tried the hard reset on the regulator several times and got a weak flame or none at all. We almost got a new grill. I had never had a regulator fail on ANY of my gas heaters or BBQs before. This was the perfect replacement for my Brinkman 3 burner with a side setup for pots and pans. It was close getting the hoses to reach, but a little turn of the propane bottle and all went as I hoped it would. My grill is blazing away and back in business. Good price and quick delivery.

I have a Char-Grill Grillin' Pro #3001 in which the regulator or something was a little dodgy (leaked propane), so I was looking for a replacement when I came across the GrillPro 80016. Rather than use the exact replacement part that can go bad again I figured I would give this a try.It works like a charm and the hoses reach both the side burner and the main connector in the front. The tricky part was connecting the regulator to tank due to a cross beam from the grill getting in the way. The best thing to do was connect the regulator first to the tank then the hoses to the grill. No leaks and the grill lit up nicely. So far, so good. Now I have to wait for the weather to get better again to use the grill!
