Pros: Handle is wood, not plastic. The device does make cooking on the grill easy.
So so: The clasp for keeping the basket closed was rather loose. I was able to make mine more secure by bending the end of the basket a bit
Con: The "nonstick" coating was not nonstick for me at all. Next time I will oil or grease the parts of the basket where the fish is going to touch and see if that helps.

I purchased 2 of these to replace a larger fish basket because I wanted more control over individual pieces of fish when barbecuing. My initial impression of the baskets was not good when I opened the package because it looked like you could only cook very thin pieces of fish if the locking cover was engaged because the basket does not expand.like my larger fish basket. I decided to give them a try since they were relatively inexpensive and I figured I could find other BBQ uses for them if they didn't work for fish. I sprayed them with a non-stick spray even though they're supposed to be non-stick then proceeded to BBQ some fish figuring if it looked like they would squish the fish too much I didn't have to engage the locking mechanism and I could just use a BBQ mitt and hold the basket together when I needed to turn them. I was actually able to close the locking mechanism without squishing the fish too much. There was a little bit of sticking of the fish to the basket while barbecuing and the cleanup was pretty easy. I'm giving the product 4 stars instead of 5 because its functional and a pretty good value. I may consider revising my review to 5 stars after a few more uses.
