2 out of my 3 bags had some black sticky substance on the inside of the bag and I did not feel comfortable putting my food inside them. The 3rd bag was split but I did manage to use it. I will not purchase this again.

I have used these bags before and they make excellent smoked food; which is why I continue to purchase them. I have only used them in the oven. The ribs I made came out fall off the bone tender. I cooked them on 225 for 5 hours; which is different from the bag directions. The ease of use is great and clean up is a cinch. My friend uses a smoker frequently and after tasting the ribs cooked in the smoker bag: He asked me to buy more bags due to his regular smoker being so labor intensive.

Cooking in these bags is easy, cleanup is easy, and the taste and tenderness of the meat is excellent. Although you don't get that "bark" like you do with real charcoal grill smoking, and the smoke flavor isn't as strong, the results are absolutely fabulous. I've done ribs, chicken, and roasts in these bags with excellent results every time. The icing on the cake is the no-mess cleanup.
